How To Safely Uninstall Linux From Windows

To perform the task of removing Linux from windows dual boot PC you need to some bunch of time around 15 minutes only with patients. You need to keep all the backup of your Linux data like images, audio and video files, documents and any other important thing which you want to need further in future. You can keep your backup in windows partition also. This is not a important work if you need nothing from Linux files.
Steps to remove Linux from Windows dual boot PC
Boot up your computer where you see a boot menu of GRUB which gives you option to select to start either Linux or Windows. You need to pay more attention further. Just select Windows OS to launch and quickly press F8 (Function 8) Key from your keyboard before your windows logo gets started. This would be your first task to perform well and correct.
You further need to select Repair Your Computer from advance boot menu of windows.
You enter into the advance menu of the windows where you can directly manage the boot part of the windows. Here you need to restore the windows boot procedure in replacement of GRUB (Linux Boot Menu) and you need to delete the Linux's boot menu here.
When you click on repair your computer you will prompt with another new dialogue box of repairing option that is System recovery option dialogue box. There you need to select Command Prompt option from the appeared screen.
After opening the command prompt from the system recovery option you will send to a command prompt based screen where you have to play with two simple code to replace the boot procedure at starting. This will help you to remove Linux based boot menu GRUB.

Regain space from Linux partition
Your next and final step would be to regain the space consumed by Linux operating system. For this you have successfully removed GRUB now you can restart your computer. You will see that no boot menu option box would appear this time and you will directly send to the either Windows XP or Windows 7.
Open Disk Management form your windows.
To open this just right click on Computer icon > Manage > Disk Management
You will see in disk management that two partitions are without any name. Those two partition of Linux operating system. To remove that just right click on that and click on Delete Volume in both the partitions. If there are more than two partitions without any name then delete them also.
Now you can create a new partition by creating a new volume there in disk management. This time you will create a partition for windows as NTFS (New Technology File System) to regain the space in windows.
You have successfully removed and uninstalled Linux from your computer well. Now you can have fun with older windows based operating system again and enjoy.
