Today every one needs graphic cards for there computer for purpose of playing games, watching high definition videos and may be for editing photos and video. This becomes a basic need when you want to buy either a brand new computer or laptop or adding newer one to existing PC which do not have. So there are some things to be care and do before buying a new graphic card for your PC. You are already know that this would be your one time investment on the visual performance of PC for a longer time, then why choose for cheaper one which are average. Taking care of budget we can also see various things that we always missed out when going to buy a graphic card. Follow some points which would be much helpful to get a perfect device for yourself. There are only fewer one in the market who sell graphic card for the PC. The famous brands  in the competition of best graphic card is Nvidia & ATI only now. This would be more beneficial to you because we have to compare only some companies. 

1. Choose all graphic cards ranges in your budget - Firsts list down and collect for some time all the graphic cards and its specification with you. You can either do it on internet or in the store of graphic cards. Be sure of that you never miss a single card for you in the list and try to choose some things little bit more than budget also.

2. See the supporting ability of Direct X version - Do not confused here Direct X is only the feature that supports the ability of tasks you do related to graphics and quality programs in PC. Just check it out first which Direct X is supportable by your PC. To check it just type in run "DxDiag" without any quote and press enter, you will see in appeared windows about Direct X properties. There are some version running in these decades are Direct X 9, 10, 11 and Latest one 12 also.

3. See the memory module type it have - Generally memory type concern with the module by which the card's memory is made. Generally we have know in world about DDR2 & DDR3. But in the graphic card GDDR5 is used now a days. Try to select cards who have GDDR5 module. Eliminate all of them who is lesser than GDDR5.

4. Select cards as per memory limit and its bus bandwidth - Graphic card are available in market with the limit of memory like 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and more over it also. Choose as per your work and need. For gaming purpose the suggestion would be above 51GB because when you purchase a game they all run smoother when you have at least 512B+ of graphic card. Bus width is the bit which have ability to process data simultaneously, maximum bit means maximum performance. Bus width are available in 64-bit, 128-bit & 256-bit and more over also. Eliminate all other those not fit here.

5. Choose maximum core and memory speed with stream processors - At the last which ever graphic card left after passing by above stages, just choose a graphic card which have the maximum numbers of Core speed, Memory speed and Maximum numbers of Streams Processors. Core speeds & Memory speed measures in MHz (Mega Hertz) or Stream processors are in Numbers. This will be best graphic card for you and your PC.

This all is necessary to be known and understand, to not be fooled with your retailers and suppliers. This are just a step ahead before you buy any graphic cards.
